Wladimir Fae Neto

Wlad is an Oceanographer, with an MSc. in Marine Biotechnology and most recently got his PhD at UWA working with Adaptive Laboratory Evolution to improve the growth rates of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii strains under different abiotic conditions. He has been working with microalgae biotechnology and physiology since 2012, with great interest in the use of those organisms for bioremediation and pigment production. He joined the Fritz Lab as a postdoc in 2022 to work on the use of microalgae species for CO2 sequestration and valorisation. Microalgae have great potential and are essential for a more sustainable future.
