Katy Morris
Katy completed her Bachelors degree in Genetics and Biochemistry at UWA, and will be starting as a Master’s student in 2023. Katy is working with Roland and the Fritz lab on a project involving genetically-engineered Vibrio natriegens which produce bioplastics from carbon dioxide.
She is interested in synthetic biology, microbiology and evolutionary biology, but is most passionate about science which aims to combat anthropogenic climate change by mitigation rather than adaptation.
